Start a new project and upload PDF blueprints; our cloud AI analyzes them, displaying tables of contents, floor plans, elevations, and key areas (like boxed details, diagrams, or scaled elements).
Select Floor Plans for Analysis
Choose floor plans for deeper analysis; the AI outlines and labels walls and openings as markers, creates links to related details and wall sections, and applies scaling to elements with clear scale references.
Refine Walls and Openings
Modify the AI-outlined walls and openings on the floor plan using advanced AI tools or manual tools to ensure accuracy.
Create or Import Assemblies
Create wall, opening, top of wall, vertical schedule, and corner assemblies or import them from your database, using saved assemblies from past jobs or quick-to-modify presets; then assign them to walls and openings in 2D (faster for batch assigning multiple items via click-and-drag) or 3D views.

Use our rendered elevation tool to make precise adjustments, like adding rebar, grouting individual cells, or placing control joints.
Review Assigned Assemblies (Optional)
If needed, quickly check all assemblies assigned to each wall with our assignment review tool, though some estimators find the 3D rendering clear enough to see all assignments.
Run Report & Assign Crews
Run a report to calculate quantities for all materials used in the project, factoring in waste, bulk packaging (e.g., cubes or straps for bricks and CMU), pricing, taxes, and total costs; also assign crews (if it's your first project, create labor, crew, and equipment details with pricing, wages, fees, fringes, benefits, regular hours, overtime, etc., then assign them to the project).
Export or Print Results
Export or print your project report in PDF, Excel, Docx, HTML, or CSV formats; you can also export the 3D model separately in IFC format.

How Accurate is the Deep Learning A.I.
Our AI, trained on thousands of Chicago Masonry blueprints, does a good job identifying walls and openings but is still improving on corners, piers, and intersections.
In beta, it delivers solid results, and we're constantly testing new models, expecting significant improvements as we collect more blueprints and user takeoff data for our proprietary models.
AI-powered and manual tools let estimators quickly correct errors for accurate results.
How Long does it Take to Analyze a Blueprint
Global analysis, including table of contents, page types, and regions for auto-scaling, takes about 3.5 minutes on average. Floorplan analysis averages 2 minutes per floorplan. A major release coming in a few months will make processing much faster, with more user control over what's analyzed, so even a 500-page PDF can be processed quickly.
Is There a Limit on AI Analysis and Storage
A single seat for our Pro Estimator plan costs $150/month until the end of 2025, then $500/month thereafter.
